    Dense fog causes delays, complications at airports, ports and on roads

    Mist and dense banks of fog reduced the visibility in Buenos Aires City today causing delays at the Jorge B. Newbery Metropolitan Airport (Aeroparque) and Ezeiza international airport, affecting several morning flights, as well as closing and slowing down operations at ports.

    The spokesperson for Buenos Aires Trains (TBA), Gustavo Gago, sustained today that the Metropolitan Police "did not inform them" of the fact that a truck had broken the tip of the barrier, which later caused a fatal train crash, killing eleven people yesterday.

    Multiple protests on main routes entering the city of Buenos Aires and downtown area complicated traffic flow on Thursday afternoon, in addition to the effects of the subway strike. Along the 9 de Julio Avenue, two sectors were blocked off, including the intersection with Santa Fe Avenue and Avenida de Mayo.

    Chubut gov't orders mandatory conciliation between 'dragons,' PAE

    The Chubut Labour Ministry ordered a mandatory conciliation between all parts involved in the Cerro Dragón conflict, hoping that workers who have taken over the oilfield and oil company Pan American Energy (PAE) will resume negotiations.
