    Gov't announces 10 point reduction in thermoprocessed meat export rights

    President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced a 15 to 5 percent plunge in the export rights of thermoprocessed meat, while meat processing plants will be forced to keep all employees in exchange, and also warned that she will apply the Supply law if necessary to guarantee yerba mate for the domestic market.

    Garbage piles as collectors protest against Moyano

    Numerous BA City neighborhoods awoke this morning with piles of garbage bags on street corners, as a result of a protest set by members of the Truckers’ union (OSCHOCA), who blocked waste collecting plants as they claim for better union's health insurance service to a hospitalized collector colleague, sources explained.
