Senate approves new Ambassador to US

The Senate closed activities for 2012 yesterday with an extraordinary session in which it passed the appointment of María Cecilia Nahón as Argentine ambassador to the US and established January 31 as an “extraordinary national holiday” to commemorate the Assembly of the Year 1813.
