President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner resumed her official activities after a 20-day medical leave of absence and criticized Great Britain after Prime Minister David Cameron accused Argentina of being a “colonialist” country. She also announced the declassification of the Rattenbach Report on the Malvinas War in 1982.

CFK contacts mayors of storm-affected districts to offer help

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner contacted several of the mayors of districts affected by the storm that left 15 people dead in the City and Greater Buenos Aires area in order to offer help and resources. The Head of State is spending Easter weekend in her private residence in El Calafate, in Santa Cruz province.

Gov't urges BA province mayors to demand larger retribution over City rubbish

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner called on mayors from the Buenos Aires province to join efforts “so the City pays whatever it has to pay” for dumping all the rubbish coming from the capital in the province’s landfills.
