    A shootout between police and civilians in Jujuy left one officer and at least three protesters dead, after clashes occurred during the eviction of more than four hundred families from a land site. The incident also left more than 60 injured, and took place close to National Route 34, in the area of Libertador San Martín, informed police officials. Jujuy Governor Walter Barrionuevo announced he has fired the responsible for the police raid that led to the violent eviction.
