Criminal gangs are making long-term investments in match-fixing, purchasing clubs and organising referee training camps as part of their infiltration of soccer, FIFA's security chief told reporters in an interview.
Investigators from across Europe said they had identified about 380 football matches that had been fixed across Europe, bringing in about 8 million euros in profits.
