In line with the National Electoral Code, until Sunday no electoral polls are to be published, rallies are forbidden and election material distribution banned across the whole country.

    The head of the National Electoral Board, Alejandro Tullio, admitted that “it may be banned to continue the campaign via Twitter or Facebook” during the electoral ban and did not rule out the possibility of setting sanctions to those who do not respect the rule.
