Located in a prime spot on Buenos Aires’ Costanera Norte (Northern Riverside), overlooking the stunning landscape of the Río de la Plata, Costa7070 combines haute cuisine, signature cocktails, and cool music. 

A spacious location designed for gatherings, the restaurant and bar is inspired by the intersection of cultures and influences that have shaped the river’s history: the Argentine river coastline and the Mediterranean Sea as starting points for a restaurant notion by fire.

Two referents of contemporary Argentine gastronomy are behind Costa7070’s identity: chef Pedro Bargero, known for his technical and storytelling sensibility and bartender Inés de los Santos, an internationally renowned name in cocktail-making. Together, they envisioned a place in which the kitchen connects with the land, the produce, and the emotions. 

Hence, honoring the local celebration of Friendship Day on Sunday, July 20, the duo will inaugurate a new series of Sunday lunches dubbed “Friendship at All Costs,” designed for sharing and leisure with a lit fire and the river as the backdrop.

Costa7070’s cooking is based on locally sourced cuisine with a strong Argentine influence. Fire — both as a technique and as a language — permeates the entire menu: fresh fish, grilled cuts of meat, seafood, and seasonal vegetables are combined into dishes that connect with the landscape and the seasons. The lunch menu respects the same essence of the evening menu, with presentations and dishes designed to be shared. 

The special menu begins with a selection of snacks and tapas, including squid fritters, raw ham croquettes, pacu ribs, fresh oysters with escabeche jus, potato omelet, and shrimp carpaccio, among other options that combine technique and flavor. The menu then moves toward the grill: whole fish, select cuts of meat, roasted vegetables, and paellas that evoke Mediterranean tradition and revive the flavors of the Argentine coast.

The liquid offering supports the experience, from start to finish: Inés offers a selection of signature cocktails in line with new global trends. There’s also a wine list, a selection of drafts, beers, and non-alcoholic options, designed for every moment of the event.
