    Line 60 drivers lift strike

    Drivers of 60 bus line decided to resume the service after five consecutive days on strike. According to bus drivers' delegate Mario Andrés Molina, the decision came after reaching a "temporary and informal agreement" with authorities of MONSA SA company on regards the employees' demands of reinstating four employes and granting a wage hike.

    Drivers of the 60 bus line decided to go on strike after the MONSA transportation company failed to pay salaries in due time. "We are going on strike for an undetermined period of time,” union delegate Angel Pericaro said. “As soon as the buses arrive at the terminal they will remain there and won’t continue their shifts.”

    Workers of Monsa company, which runs the 60 bus line, ratified their strike, which entered its fourth day, due to wage claims. The drivers stressed they will keep their measure until the money they are owed is paid and rejected the mandatory conciliation issued by the Labour Ministry.
