    Río Negro Governor shot dead

    Recent elected Governor of Río Negro Carlos Soria died around 5am Sunday of a shot to the face.  Soria was at a small farm of his property in General Roca, Río Negro. Authorities are investigating accidental or domestic fight hypotheses. Sources said Soria's wife, Susana Freydoz, was questioned by Judge Emilio Stadler. Vice-governor Alberto Weretilneck will be sworn-in Tuesday.

    The judge in charge of the investigation into Río Negro's Governor's murder, confirmed that Soria's wife, Susana Freydoz “has been charged because she is currently under investigation for the murder of the Río Negro governor.” He said she would not, however, be detained because she is not a flight risk.
