    Gov't blasts teamsters' union protests blocking Correo Argentino depots

    The national government hit back at the SICHOCA teamsters’ union protests being carried out today, as workers forming part of the trucker union run by Hugo and Pablo Moyano were blocking off entrances to various Correo Argentino mail depots. Planning Minister Julio De Vido assured that the post company “does not have any contracts that allow poor labour conditions.”

    'The subway conflict cannot be treated with indifference,' says Labour Minister

    Labour Minister Carlos Tomada commented again on the City government’s lack of action regarding the current conflicts with subway staff, and further took a dig at Mauricio Macri’s administration for not wishing to get involved. “The City government cannot treat the conflict with the Subway with indifference,” Tomada stated.

    Rival union factions clash at toll station

    At least three toll workers were injured, one of them is in serious condition, during clashes between rival union factions at toll stations on a Buenos Aires City highway in a protest headed by the dissident union group led by Facundo Moyano, the son of the head of the CGT union umbrella group Hugo Moyano.

    Gov't, teamsters to resume talks over Santa Cruz conflict in two days

    After meeting for several hours in the Labour Ministry offices on Wednesday, the teamsters' union failed to come to an agreement with the Camuzzi Gas del Sur and ratified that their plans to stage a 'massive protest rally' at the Plaza de Mayo on Friday to demand a solution to the conflict are still standing.

    Moyano says Gov't officials are 'teacher's pets'

    After a month shying away from the public eye and amidst conflicts between truckers and companies based in Chubut, CGT umbrella union leader Hugo Moyano appeared at a rally in Santa Fe and stated that Government officials are the “teacher’s pet.”
