Maradona crashes his car

Football star Diego Maradona crashed his car against a bus in the El Trébol neighbourhood of Ezeiza locality and injured his knee. His girlfriend Verónica Ojeda, was injured in her hip.

Both were taken to the nearby Ezeiza hospital by emergency services staff and remain in observation.

Maradona and Ojeda were en route to visit the former national squad’s coach mother, who remains hospitalized in critical condition at Los Arcos clinic in Buenos Aires City.
