Filmus insists on forming a 'City coalition gov't'
The candidate to City Mayor for the Victory Front (FPV), Daniel Filmus, reaffirmed the idea of forming a “coalition government” between political forces, which he believes would enable the possibility of “change” in the city.
“We believe that the majority of Buenos Aires city residents will independently bid for change in the city. For that reason, we put forward that if we have a clear city model in common, we will be able to form a clear programme and aspire to lead the city,” assured the senator.
Filmus made the statements during a television interview, where he confirmed that the city elections will end up being settled in the second round on July 31, between himself and current City Mayor Mauricio Macri, because they are “almost even”.
