Teacher strikes to affect classes all week in BA province
Two different teacher unions are carrying out strike action this week, cancelling classes for a total of four days in Buenos Aires province schools.
Classes in schools across Buenos Aires province are being drawn to a halt this week, as two teachers unions are on separate 48-hour strikes between today and tomorrow, and Thursday and Friday.
The groups are asking that collective bargaining talks be reopened, as well as discussing other topics with officials, despite Scioli's administration's negative stance.
