Child care centre attacked after smothered baby pictures surface

A group of attackers attempted arson on a crèche in Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut province this morning, after throwing a fire bomb into the building, following a scandal in which a baby was smothered at the centre last month.

Early reports stated that the identity of the attackers remained unknown, but that they had entered the building and planted the device in the early hours of the morning in an attempt to set the building alight.

The director of the Hormiguita Viajera child care centre said to the press today that they had been “at the school until 3 am putting out the fire, which thankfully did not get the chance to further spread.”
