Navy confident about ship release in short; denies evacuation plan
Navy Secretary General Luis María González Day, expressed confidence that the "joint ministerial commission that went to Ghana to seek the release of the training vessel Libertad will reach a successful agreement."
In addition, the official downplayed the fact that the ship is held: "The delay continues to be another step in the journey."
Regarding the situation of the crew, Day said: "The crew is very well, they are in constant touch with their families, and hoping that the commission that went to Ghana will get the ship sailing again."
