Lorenzino compares De la Sota to an 'overlord' after failed conciliation meeting
After a failed meeting for conciliation before the Supreme Court, Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino assured on Monday that the “problems” being faced by the Córdoba administration “are not related” to the National Government and compared the province’s governor José Manuel de la Sota to an “overlord.”
Lorenzino said that during the meeting, which took place at the Tribunales court, De la sota “looked more like an overlord than a governor looking to work in benefit of the people of Córdoba.”
The minister held a press conference alongside ANSes head Diego Bossio, and said that De la Sota merely insisted on making the Government pay an alleged pension funds debt mounting up to over 1 billion pesos.
However, Lorenzino said that the administrations “problems,” are not related to the National Government.
