Macri praises De la Sota for 'respecting Córdoba's residents' dignity'
City Mayor Mauricio Macri and Córdoba Governor José Manuel de la Sota were once again pictured together as they watched the Argentina-Paraguay match together in a box at the Mario Kempes stadium and blasted the Government.
“De la Sota, representing the dignity of Córdoba citizens, has said ‘we’ve come this far’. I respect the Córdoba citizens’ dignity, as they have never enjoyed being pushed around,” Macri said.
Macri met with De la Sota and former Santa Fe gubernatorial candidate Miguel Del Sel in the stadium’s box.
Earlier, he visited Mendoza province with fellow PRO party leaders and celebrated the fact that he encountered “many people who are not willing to accept national Government who wishes in instill fear among citizens.”
“I want a peaceful country, with dialogue and accords, where the person who thinks differently is respected. I want an end to this (Venezuelan president Hugo) Chávez-like situation to which Kirchnerism is leading us to,” he added.
Leaders of PRO party met in Córdoba province in order to discuss their stance in upcoming national debates.
The Mauricio Macri-led centre-right party is taking part of the national lawmakers meeting, and is analyzing the Government sponsored bill of allowing teenagers aged 16 with the aim to present a united front regarding the bill.
The meeting is expected to end at 7 pm and will resume on Saturday at 8.30 am with a presentation of political and communicational strategies ahead of the 2013 legislative elections.
