Rail transport official asked to step down

Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo made changes in the transport sector today putting forward a request for Under Secretary for Rail Transport Antonio Luna to step down.

The request was made and approved this morning, the Transport Ministry confirmed in a press conference. Luna immediately resigned as requested and his stepping down was accepted.

It was said to have been put forward in a bid to “reshuffle” positions within the sector.

The position is to be reassigned, however details of who is to take on the role have yet to released.
