Tax revenue soars 29.2% in August

The tax revenue has climbed 29.2 percent in August against the volume registered during the same month in 2011, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced.

The Head of State reported that the revenue has reached $60.456 billion pesos.

"It has exceeded what was expected in the budget," Fernández de Kirchner assured during her speech.

The tax revenue had reached a record of $540.134 billion pesos in 2011, 31.8 percent higher than the one registered in 2010.
