Official charged in Once train crash case resigns
The under-secretary of the Transport Secretary's Regulation department, Antonio Sícaro, tendered his resignation after the families of the victims of the Once train crash tragedy rejected his designation.
Sources reported that Sícaro presented his resignation to minister Florencio Randazzo, who accepted it, but has not announced who will take his place yet.
The official stated in a letter that he regretted the "deep sense of unease" that his designation had generated in the victims' families, as he has been charged in the Once train crash case.
