Buenos Aires stocks close week down

The Merval benchmark stock index moved up by 0.9 percent to 2,215.34 points, but has dropped 2.4 percent this week. So far this year, it has dropped 10.04 percent.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 0.6 percent, standing at 973 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
