Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks showed losses today, with the Merval stock benchmark index moving down by 1.3 percent to 2,241.71 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk gained by 1.7 percent to 969 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
