Vélez beat Atlético Nacional in first leg

Vélez Sarsfield defeated Colombia's Atlético Nacional 1-0 in the first leg of the pre-quarter finals match of the Libertadores de América Cup.

The only goal of the game was netted by Iván Bella only 8' after the beginning of the first half. Vélez had an opportunity to score once more due to a penalty kicked by Juan Manuel Martínez, but goalkeeper Gastón Pezzutti managed to stop the ball.
