Three-month-old baby found dead in Córdoba

A three-month-old baby was found dead today inside a rubbish container in the city of Córdoba, reported missing since yesterday. Police arrested the mother of the child, who is a main suspect in the child’s murder.

After a long and intensive search for the William Alexander Pedroza in the neighbourhood of Pueyrredón, his body was found in the early hours of the morning in a green plastic bag, dumped inside a container situated along Bulnes street at 3000.

The baby’s body was taken to the judicial morgue in order to carry out the autopsy, in order to determine exactly how the baby died.

The mother of the child, Etelvina Pedroza, 31, had argued on Friday that the baby had been stolen by three policemen, although the public prosecutor leading the case had already reported his suspicions about the woman, for suspected “abandonment.”
