Del Potro returns to ATP's Top 10
Juan Martín del Potro returned to the “Top Ten” of the ATP World Tennis’ classification after the Montecarlo Masters 1000, while Serb Novak Djokovic extends his points as the top seeded player.
Del Potro, with 2,700 points, climbed a step at the ranking leaving US John Isner at the eleventh place and made his way into the top ten, only 25 points from US Mardy Fish (9° place) and 120 from Serb Janko Tipsaervic (8°).
Among his fellow-countrymen, Juan Mónaco was not able to continue gaining places and stands at the 15° place, followed by Spaniards Feliciano López (16°) and Fernando Verdasco (20°), while Juan Ignacio Chela climbed up to the 31° place.
At the top of the classification remains Djokovic, who is not so closely followed by Spain’s Rafael Nadal.
Swiss Roger Federer stands at the third place, followed by British Andy Murray.
