Repsol-YPF shares bounce back in Buenos Aires and NY; fall in Madrid
Shares of Argentina’s biggest energy company Repsol-YPF bounced back from previous losses by gaining 5.1 percent at the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange; while in Wall Street shares were also recovering from a bumpy week and gained 9.9 percent. In Spain, however, shares fell 4.8 percent.
Stocks plunged this weekafter president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced the government’s plans to expropriate 51 percent of the 57.43 share-package Repsol owns.
