International Book Fair begins

The annual event for book and culture lovers begins on Thursday under the motto of "A future with a book" and will be held until May 7 at La Rural headquarters in Palermo neighbourhood.

The official ceremony of the 38° edition of the International Book Fair will be at 6:30pm at the Sala José Hernández and will count with the presence of National and City authorities, besides the leaders of the El Libro Foundation.

Argentine writer Luis Guzmán will be on charge of the opening speech.

As in previous editions, this year the fair will have well-known international guests, debate tables, conferences, book signing, courses, book presentation and activities for the whole family.

One of the main atractions this year will be the e-books in a special area denominated "Espacio Digital - Zona Futuro" (Digital Space - Future Zone), where the readers can experience the ultimate technology.
