Defensor defeat Vélez, leaves it out of overall top
Uruguay's Defensor Sporting defeated Vélez Sársfield 3-1 and the Argentine team has lost the top of the overall ranking of the Libertadores de América Cup.
Andrés Olivera opened the score only 6' after the beginning of match, while his teammate Diego Rodríguez netted at 37' of the sama half.
Two minutes after the beginning of the second half, Mathías Britos scored Defensor's third goal and at 18´, Federico Insúa netted Vélez only goal of the match.
This result has left Vélez at the top of the Group 7, but lost the highest point at the overall raking, and the Uruguayan team out of the Tournament.
