Boudou:‘YPF has always been an Argentine company’
“It is a strategic and cultural decision,” the Vice-President remarked.
Vice-President Amado Boudou backed today President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s plans to seize control of YPF oil and gas company.
Speaking during a political rally at Iguazú Falls in Northeastern province of Misones today, Boudou said that “YPF has always been an Argentine company,” and remarked the decision of expropriate, “was taken for the benefit all Argentina’s citizens.”
Moreover, the former Economy Minister indicated that “It is a strategic and cultural decision."
“Let’s look forward to the future with more hope and strength,” Boudou emphasized.
“The bill draft sent to Congress by the President is written in such a manner that we regain the strategic control of this company for the good of the 40 million Argentines.”
