CFK to meet with Obama on Saturday in Colombia
Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and US President Barack Obama.
While attending the 6th Summit of the Americas in Colombia this Saturday, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is scheduled to meet privately with US president Barack Obama.
The plans for a bilateral encounter were confirmed by the presidential spokesman Alfredo Scocimarro, who assured that the meeting was requested by Washington, just like last November, when both parties met privately in Cannes, France.
The meeting between Argentina and the US takes place in a time in which the bilateral relationship is going through some “noise,” as Argentine ambassador Jorge Argüello said, although lately the Obama administration has sent some signs of appeasement.
