Maradona describes Pelé’s opinion over Messi as ‘stupid’

Football icon Diego Armando Maradona blasted Brazil’s Pelé once more after assuring that his opinion over Lionel Messi, who he challenged to “beat Neymar,” is “stupid.”

“Maybe Neymar is the best player of the world, but only if we clarify that Messi is from another planet,” Maradona answered during a press conference in Dubai where he was asked about Pelé’s statements.

“O Rei” had assured last Tuesday that “the Argentines always compared me with Maradona and Alfredo Di Stéfano, now they talk about Messi, who is an astro, but he has to be better than Neymar first.”
