Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks were higher today, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving up by 2.3 percent to 2,562.68 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.7 percent, to 920 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
