Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks traded slightly lower, with the Merval benchmark stock index edging down by 1 percent to 2,497.05 points. The leading panel of stocks accumulated gains of 1.4 percent so far this year.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.5 percent to 933 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
