Argentina's doubles puts Argentina ahead

David Nalbandian and Eduardo Schwank defeated Croatians Marin Cilic and Ivo Karlovic 3-6, 7-6(6), 6-3, 6-7(6) and 8-6 in the doubles match of the Davis Cup quarter finals at the Mery Terán de Weiss stadium in Parque Roca. The game followed David Nalbandian’s defeat and Juan Martin Del Potro’s triumph on Friday.

Cilic defeated Nalbandian in a gruelling 5 hour long,  five sets match which jeopardized Argentina’s chances and added pressure to Juan Martin Del Potro, whose presence in the match against ivo Karlovic was not confirmed until last minute due to a stomach flu.
