Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli supervises the situation in Moreno along with National Security Secretary, Sergio Berni.

Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli, via the Social Development Ministry and the Public Spaces Secretary, reported he is assisting 30 districts that were affected by the tragic storm that left 12 dead, nine of them from the Greater Buenos Aires.

During the day, Scioli has “supervised” the assistance actions for those affected by the storm in the province. He visited the locality of Moreno by noon, where severe damages were registered.

The governor expressed his condolences for those who died, and assured that “what happened was brutal ferocity and we have a titanic task standing before us.”

“Our priority is to be close to those who need us the most,” he continued as he thanked President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner for “rapidly focusing in this emergency.”
