YPF shares edge down in Buenos Aires and New York
Shares of Argentina's biggest energy company YPF edge lower by 0.6 percent in Wall Street today also slipping 0.2% at the Buenos Aires stock market.
Yesterday, shares plunged 18.3 percent in Buenos Aires and 3.3 percent in New York after they fell to a three-year low the day before.
YPF shares were battered over the weekend as the local media reported that the government had made up its mind to take control of the company, controlled by Spain's Repsol, either by expropriating it or buying a controlling stake. Also, during last weekend, two provinces said they would revoke the company’s concessions.
