Argentina to face Brazil in October

Argentina’s national football team will face Brazil in October 3 in a friendly match denominated the ‘Superclassic of the Americas’ to be held at Resistencia City, according to authorities of both countries.

The date of the match was reported after an encounter between the representatives of Chaco province government and leaders of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

The heads of the CBF visited the Centenario stadium, where the derby will be held. “It looks like those great stadiums of the worls,” Brazilian Guilherme Ribeiro stated.

The “Superclassic of the Americas” is a friendly competition of the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) that was made official on June 28, 2011, in the midst of the Sudamericana Cup 2011 draw.
