Armed gang takes over private neighbourhood, holds 27 hostage

An armed gang containing at least five delinquents took over a private neighbourhood close to the Greater Buenos Aires area of Luján and took at least twenty-seven people hostage, thereafter ransacking four homes.

The robbers carried out the attack early on Sunday morning inside the gated community and country club ‘La Cecilia,’ located along kilometre 72 of the Western Highway (Autopista del Oeste), in the Carlos Keen neighbourhood.
