Demonstrations mark 30th anniversary of the Malvinas war
Marches are scheduled to mark the thirty years of the Malvinas War at Buenos Aires City.
Several demonstrations are scheduled to mark the thirty years of the Malvinas War at Buenos Aires City as leftist movements such as the Quebracho activist group and the MST call for marches towards the British Embassy today.
The first demonstration, organized by the Quebracho movement, started at 11 am (local time) at Retiro neighborhood, downtown Buenos Aires. Demonstrators are expected to march to the British Embassy.
At 2.30 pm left worker’s parties have called for a demonstration and a march starting at Las Heras and Pueyrredon avenues to the Agote street, where the British representation is located.
The MST (Land Reform Movement) is also meeting today at 02.30 pm to remember the 30th anniversary of the Malvinas War at Santa Fé and Pueyrredon Avenues and it is also expected to march to the British Embassy along with the other left groups.
