Met Police officer killed in Avellaneda

A 35-year-old Metropolitan Police officer Leandro Rojas when he was parking his car at his house’s garage in Southern Greater Buenos Aires district of Avellaneda.

According to BA City Security Minister Guillermo Montenegro, “Rojas was entering his car to his house when two robbers attacked the officer. A shooting started and Rojas got shot in the head.”

Montenegro also explained that Rojas “was an experienced officer as he had been with the Navy before joining the Metropolitan Police.”

Likewise, the Minister couldn’t confirm weather the robber were minors or not: “The BA Province police is already working on that and searching for them. It’s probably people who lives in either Avellaneda or neighbouring BA City.”
