CFK remembers coup victims using speeches made by Kirchner

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner remembered the victims of the last military dictatorship and recognized the work being done by human rights groups today using two messages left by former president Néstor Kirchner, on the anniversary of the beginning of the 7-year-long coup d’etat which occurred 36 years ago.

Through social network Twitter, the Head of State transmitted the messages that her husband had delivered on the March 24 commemorations in 2004 and 2006 and did so “in memory of the victims of the dictatorship, and recognising the Human Rights organisations who constructed the cultural concept of Memory, Truth and Justice and kept it alive, and in memory of the President who made it possible.”
