‘If Moyano wants to compete with Caló over the CGT, he won’t do well’

Oscar Lescano, the head of the power workers union.

Oscar Lescano, the head of the power workers union, harshly criticized Hugo Moyano once more and advised him to avoid an electoral fight over the CGT labour confederation against the head of the metal workers union Antonio Caló, because “he won’t do well.”

Lescano assured that Caló’s candidacy counts with “the support of the majority of the unions” and that the truck driver will have to face a tough battle to gather more support for the July elections.

“Caló hinted that he wanted to be the head of the CGT. He counts with the support of the majority of the unions. The metal workers union is a historical one, that’s why I don’t think anyone is going to question his decision. If Moyano wants to run against him then I don’t think he will do well,” the union leader stated.
