President says 'access to medicine in Argentina's one of the best in LatAm'

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner inaugurated today a pharmaceutical plant that will mainly focus in the production of medicine for cancer tratement, in North Western Greater Buenos Aires district of Pilar.

The Head of State praised the national pharmaceutical industry as “85 percent of the 213 existent laboratories are of Argentine capitals”, and added, “Plus, Argentina is one of the Latin American leading countries in terms of population access to pharmaceutical medicines.”        

Likewise, the President remarked that the new FadaPharma plant “is contributing to lowering by 30 percent the prices of medicines to make them more affordable and grant access to the entire population.”
