This week at the movies
Futuristic trials of human strength make their way onto our cinema screens as the film adaptation of Suzanne Collin’s best-selling trio of novels ‘The Hunger Games’ makes it’s debut this week. Starring acclaimed actress Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role, critics so far are giving the thumbs-up. Other highlights this week include 'Schlafkrankheit (Sleeping sickness)' and 'Safe House.'
Denzel Washington makes a comeback this week in ‘Safe House’ starring alongside Ryan Renolds, in an FBI action-packed thriller.
Meanwhile, coming from the other side of the Atlantic, Don Cheadle takes on a slightly different role as an FBI agent who’s hired to investigate a murder, in a remote Gaelic-speaking region of Ireland, in ‘The Guard.’
