Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks pushed up, with the Merval benchmark stock index gaining 1 percent to 2,718.83 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.4 percent to 774 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
