Uruguay court accuses two male nurses of murdering at least 16 patients
An Uruguayan court indicted two male nurses accused being responsible of killing at least sixteen patients and a female nurse of cover up, a court judge announced.
Judge Rolando Vomero decided to indict the three suspects, who will remain in prision until the murder trial begins.
The two male nurses are accused of aggravated murder, and the female nurse is accused of covering the murders up.
The two men are 39 and 46 years old. One of them admitted to committing five murders, while the other confessed to killing eleven patients.
The judge announced that the case is still "an ongoing investigation."
The Uruguayan Justice is still investigating as the nurses are suspected of murdering at least 50 patients by causing drug-induced death, confirmed judicial authorities of the neighbouring country.
