Boudou vows to fight ‘cultural and economic colonialism’

Acting President Amado Boudou vowed to fight what he called ‘cultural and economic colonialism,’ during a ceremony to commemorate the 200 years of the creation of the General José de San Martín horse police squad.
“The country is in a transition phase from an assisted democracy to the independent popular will,” he said.
“In times like this, we have to fight cultural and economic colonialism in which Argentines and Latin Americans are immersed,” Boudou explained.
Vice President Amado Boudou is acting President during Cristina Fernández de Kirchner's two-day official visit to neighbouring Chile.
