CFK supports Central Bank's charter reform bill
President Cristina Fernámdez de Kirchner today defended the draft bill which would implement amendments to the Central Bank’s charter.
“We should all know that the Central Bank must work based on the real economy, and not to bring troubles”, the Head of State wrote on her Facebook account.
Likewise, the President remarked that should the reform get passed, “the Central Bank will keep its independence of decision no matter what instruction the national government issue.”
To end her appearance on the internet social network, the leader emphasized that the reform “is not a measure aimed to take away from the CB its responsibility and obligation to intervene in the nation’s real economy in order to assure the creation of new job posts the country’s constant growth.”
