State-side singer and composer Bob Dylan, one of the most influential musicians in the second half of the 20th century, added a third date to the Argentine leg of his tour, which takes place next month in Buenos Aires.

Dylan had already planned concerts on April 26 and 27 at the Gran Rex theatre in Buenos Aires, but as announced today, an additional date for the 28th was added. Tickets for the newly added gig are to go on sale on Monday.

The singer from the US will take to the stage located along Corrientes at 857 in his fourth stopover in Argentina. His previous gigs took place at Obras in 1991, River Stadium in 1998 and Vélez Stadium in 2008.

Dylan, writer of songs such as “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “Don’t think twice, it’s Alright,” has a long and extensive repertoire.

In 2008 he received a honorary Pulitzer Prize for his “profound impact on popular music in North American culture, standing out for his compositions and poetic power.”
